Richard Sanford - Licensed Tour Guide
Lingo Planet Bicycle Tours Started in 2002 with a goal; ! To have people experience New York City in the most exciting way, by bicycle! As a former NYC high school foreign language teacher of 33 years, Richard figured "Hey why not combine the skills I do best with my love for cycling. He developed language immersion bicycle tours in English, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin Chinese.
Richard has traveled extensively throughout the United States, parts of Europe, China, and South America all by bike, His biggest adventure was pedaling from New York City to Alaska, completely self contained. (A total of 6,389. miles or 10,282 km) When off the bicycle Richard volunteers much of his time as a Disaster Instructor for the American Red Cross. As a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn, Richard is thrilled to share his colorful New York stories with you, as you enjoy the electrifying experience of this great city.

Manny Sanudo has been conducting bicycle tours for over 20 years. He began and still is a tour leader and instructor for the Five Borough Bicycle Club of New York City. In 2008 he became a professional guide. As a native New Yorker (born in Harlem) and former librarian for Queens College of the City University of New York, Manny is incredibly able to share with you some amazing stories of New York City; things that it takes a librarian like him to know.
Manny's off the cuff humor is what keeps tourists coming back for more. A funny anecdote from him is priceless. (Ask him about the time he took a job as a NYC subway conductor! ) Manny is fluent in Spanish and is proud of his family's Spanish heritage. He enjoys weaving that into the fabric of our great city. Manny has developed many tours for Lingo Planet Bicycle Tours, his latest being the Presidential Secrets Bicycle Tour.

Johannes Weinkirn was born half a century ago in the middle of Austria, halfway between Linz and Vienna. He made his way down to Vienna to study Cultural Anthropology. A few years on he decided to cross the prime meridian into the Western Hemisphere, setting up his homestead in New York City where he has spent half his life now. For work he splits his days between tour guiding and gardening; for pleasure he translates great literature.
Johannes speaks German, English and Roof Top Gardens. Yes, he’s the guy who schlepped your tree up through the elevator of your 20 story luxury building to plant it just in the right place.
