Immerse yourself in Spanish Harlem ("el Barrio") where life has its own vibe, and eye striking murals reveal the pride of the neighborhood!

Here Latino life, salsa music, colossal sized murals, community gardens, vendors selling snow cones, and arroz con habichuelas are the flavor of the day! But, there's a story behind all of this and we'll see how each mural sends out its own message.  We'll discover what the people of el Barrio are doing to preserve their way of life.

Just as el Barrio works to preserve it's culture, we'll ride to another part of East Harlem to see what was once the largest Italian Neighborhood of New York City. But, where did it go, what caused the change, and what is left to bring us back to what once was yet still is a part of the past? Just imagine a place where an oven has not been turned off since the 1930's, a yearly celebration of a seven story high icon carried on the shoulders of more than 100 devotees, and a restaurant you can't get into without an invitation. .

​Our tour is a 3 hour experience. We supply the bicycles, the required helmets and the guide! ​You supply the adventurous spirit!
